Why Do We Need Angels? Our Affiliate is committed to serving all 36 counties in Oregon and 3 counties in SW Washington. Our Angel Donors will allow us to expand our programs and services to this vast community of those in need.
How Angels Help Us The Oregon & SW Washington Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure has one clear goal - saving lives. For people in Oregon and SW Washington we provide:
Education about breast cancer and early detection
Information and support to breast cancer survivors and their families
Funding for free mammograms for women without insurance or who are underinsured
Funding for transportation and treatment support for survivors
And don't forget that 25% of the dollars we raise support research that will discover the cures for breast cancer.
Becoming An Angel Donor
All donors who make a gift of $1,000 or more will become an Angel donor.
