Adam began serving with the local Affiliate in March, 2010. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Adam received his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Houston, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2008.
During his university studies, Adam also worked full-time as the Assistant Gallery Manager for the Children's Museum of Houston, the highest rated and most visited children’s museum in the country hosting over 750,000 visitors each year. In his position at the museum Adam managed all facets of hosting and training volunteers from a diverse range of community organizations, and was responsible for planning museum events.
As the Events Manager, Adam is responsible for leading strategic and detailed components of Affiliate special events, including the Race for the Cure in Portland and Eugene. Adam is dedicated to serving his community and understands the important role non-profit organizations take in society. He loves being a part of the non-profit sector and hopes to run his own non-profit one day.
Outside of work he enjoys hiking, biking, and being outdoors to experience the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
