Cristina has been at the Oregon and SW Washington Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure since March 2007. In her current role as Development Manager, Cristina oversees annual giving and manages special events and promotions. In addition, she works with corporate sponsors, donors, and fundraising partners outside of the organization. She also works collaboratively with the Director of Development and Corporate Relations Manager to strategize and unify all development efforts.
Cristina loves working in the Development field, as her position allows her to utilize her interpersonal and communication skills. Additionally, having held several leadership positions throughout college and in her professional career, Cristina appreciates working for an organization that is a leader in breast health - on a local and global scale - and for the opportunities she has to further utilize and develop her own leadership skills for the Affiliate. Cristina holds her B.A. in English Literature and Writing from Whitworth University in Spokane, WA and is currently pursuing graduate coursework in nonprofit development. Her professional plans include working as a Director of Development or Executive Director one day.
