Cristina has been at the Oregon and SW Washington Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure since March 2007. As the Director of Development, Cristina oversees all fundraising for annual operations and long-term financial security for the Affiliate, including individual giving, corporate support, Race for the Cure, Lunch for the Cure, major gifts, foundation solicitation, planned giving and special events and initiatives.
Cristina loves working in the Development field, as her position allows her to utilize her interpersonal and communication skills. Additionally, having held several leadership positions throughout her professional career, Cristina appreciates working for an organization that is a leader in breast health - on a local and global scale - and for the opportunities she has to further utilize and develop her own leadership skills for the Affiliate. Cristina holds her B.A. in English Literature and Writing from Whitworth University in Spokane, WA.
