A native Portlander, Devon began working with the Oregon and SW Washington Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure in January, 2008. As Assistant Manager of Marketing Communications, Devon manages tactical Affiliate marketing and communications efforts, including its external and internal communications, key stakeholder, vendor, business and media partner relationships. Devon works collaboratively with the Director of Marketing Communications to implement and support Affiliate communication strategies. She also serves as the Affiliate Spanish Media Liaison, working as the primary media contact for events targeted to the Latino population and media interviews in Spanish.

Devon manages marketing communication activities supporting Affiliate signature events, PR efforts and media coordination for events such as the Komen Portland Race for the Cure and annual Breast Cancer Issues Conference Series. She also manages Komen's website content, e-communications strategy and presence on social media.

Prior to joining the Komen team, Devon studied in Veracruz, Mexico and lived in Valparaiso, Chile. Devon is a graduate of Lewis & Clark College. With her husband, Bryce, she loves to travel, learn about other cultures, and go camping throughout the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Devon hopes to make a positive impact on the world through being part of Komen's promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever.
