Jeff became a member of the Komen Oregon team in May, 2011. Born and raised in Florida, Jeff graduated Cum Laude and received two Bachelor’s degrees in Public Management and Art History from Florida Atlantic University.
During his university studies, Jeff also worked full-time as the Museum Education Coordinator for the University Galleries at Florida Atlantic University. In his work there, Jeff conducted and guided students in exhibition research, educational field trip guide development, publication and distribution. He also led the education portion of Museum Studies and Gallery Practices class. Jeff also worked as the museum’s Development Associate, maintaining correspondence between donors and funding organizations, assisting the Director and supporting development staff.
As the Development Coordinator for the local Komen Affiliate, Jeff supports the overall development function of the Affiliate, providing stewardship assistance, sponsorship and database support. Jeff’s work also includes overseeing local marketing strategies for the Passionately Pink for the Cure and Rally for the Cure programs.
Jeff feels passionate about Komen’s mission not only because of the organization’s commitment to finding the cures, but also because of how the organization works to empower, support, and connect survivors. In his spare time Jeff enjoys running in Forest Park, reading, traveling and enjoying the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
