Julie HofferAs Mission and Communications Coordinator, Julie’s focus is spreading the word of Komen’s promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever. She manages the Affiliate website, assists with marketing and communications strategies and coordinates Komen mission events with the Community Programs Manager and Survivor Programs Manager. She is also active on Komen's Inclusion and Diversity Task Force.Julie is celebrated in her field for big picture thinking with a keen eye for the details. A member of the Komen family since 2004, Julie brings a unique skill-set to the Affiliate with her background in editing and publishing, women’s issues and collaboratingwith writers and artists of varying ages and races from around the world. Julie holds a B.A. in English from the University of Minnesota Duluth. She loves to travel and has visited Peru, China, Thailand, Borneo and most of Western Europe. |
