Kyle CambergCorporate Relations ManagerKyle Camberg has been with the Affiliate since the winter of 2003, overseeing all operations of the annual Komen Portland Race for the Cure®. In the time Kyle has worked on the Race, the event has seen record growth in attendance, sponsorship, online fundraising and total dollars raised. The 2007 Race was the largest in the 16-year history of the local Race (and the second largest in the country). More than 47,800 participants raised $2.9 million dollars. Before working with the Komen Oregon & SW Washington Affiliate, Kyle dived into the events and marketing industry, working in positions with both the Portland Trail Blazers and Seattle Seahawks. Kyle spent more than four years, between 1999 and 2003, working in fundraising and event planning as a Division Fundraising Director for the Greater Oregon Chapter of the March of Dimes. He is an active sports enthusiast and has coached youth basketball for the past nine years. Kyle holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Oregon. |
