Breast Health Needs Assessment

The Komen Community Profile is a local needs assessment conducted every two years by our Affiliate. The goal of the community profile is  to identify gaps in services, improve breast health services and be more aware of populations most in need of breast health services. 

Background information for the Community Profile Report is gathered through Oregon and SW Washington via questionnaires, focus groups, key informant interviews and demographic data. All of the background information is analyzed, gaps are identified and priorities are established for the next two years. The Komen Board of Directors and various Komen programs use Community Profile findings to select grantees, develop new programs and focus media attention.
