Community Partners in ActionThe Komen Oregon & SW Washington Affiliate offers several types of grants to meet the diverse needs of the large geographic region that we serve.Community Grants (up to $40,000) are designed to launch a program with staff to provide breast health education and outreach, treatment support or survivor support. Applications are due December 10, 2008. Training will be offered in October 2008. Rural Transportation Grants (up to $15,000) are designed to improve access to mammography and breast cancer treatment services for rural women and can be renewed indefinitely. Applications are due December 10, 2008. Training will be offered in October 2008. Mini-Grants (up to $2,000) are offered quarterly and they are designed to assist with a special event for breast health education or one-time costs associated with a breast health project. Deadlines are June 15, August 15, December 15 and March 15 of each year. |
