The Oregon and SW Washington Affiliate has partnered with the Northeast Oregon Area Health Education Center (NEOAHEC) to offer grants up to $1,000 to high school students interested in conducting breast health education projects. The Komen Affiliate will fund FOUR grants, up to $1,000 each, to high school students that focuses on breast health education or a celebration of survivors. This is a pilot project this year to see if this topic is of interest to high school students, especially those interested in health careers. To see the grant announcement click here.
