Rural Transportation Grants

Our Affiliate is pleased to announce that through our partnership with the American Cancer Society, we are able to serve woman and men throughout our entire service area with transportation services.  We serve 36 counties in Oregon and Clark, Skamania and Cowlitz Counties in SW Washington.  Transportation services include gas cards, food and lodging for breast cancer patients traveling to treatment and gas cards only for travel to screening services.  People are eligible if their income is less than 250% of the Federal Poverty Level and they are uninsured or Medicaid eligible. See Transportation Program for details.

Any non-profit organization can apply for local Transportation Grants up to $5,000.  These smaller grants are designed to address local needs and serve clients that are not served by the ACS Transportation program.  If an organization wants to create a larger transportation program, they may use the Community Grant application process. The $5,000 Transportation Grants are open to all non-profit organizations.
