Mini-grant Awards

Our Affiliate awards mini-grants of up to $2,000 to non-profit groups with a 501(c)3, government entities and tribal entities. 
Mini-grants can be used to fund breast health education materials, one-time events (such as health fairs and survivor retreats), or help to launch pilot projects. 

Mini-grants are offered four times a year and require a simple application.
Deadlines are currently September 15, December 15, March 15, and June 15.

Sample of Previous Mini-grant Awards:

Douglas County Cancer Care Committee - A Tea and Fashion Show for breast cancer survivors in Roseburg and Douglas County, Oregon.

Oregon Pacific Area Health Education Center (AHEC) - Printing of breast health information brochure for women in the mid-valley and mid-coastal areas.

Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation - Printing of breast health information in the Farsi language for women from Iran that do not read English fluently.

Cancer Care Resources – A weekend retreat for women with breast cancer which includes self-care activities, expressive arts, guided imagery and massage.

Coquille Indian Tribe – Breast Cancer Promotion Day with free educational materials and a new breast model on display for all to touch.

Burns Paiute Tribe – Breast Cancer Awareness Event with a respected Native American female speakers and breast education materials.

Native People’s Circle of Hope – Warm Springs Chapter – Pilot project to provide transportation to women traveling from Warm Spring to Bend for breast cancer treatment.

The Rinehart Clinic – Free educational materials and breast models for teaching rural, low-income women about mammograms and breast self-exams.
