The Pink Ambassadors are so important to Worship in Pink and its success! 

We look forward to meeting and working with you to help you plan your congregation’s activities for Worship in Pink!

Pastors or representatives are invited to the Clergy & Community Breakfast – Kick Off Event

Thursday, June 14, 2012 from 7:30am – 9:30am – Legacy Emanuel Atrium

Ambassador Orientation
When: Saturday, July 21 and Monday July 23; Saturday, August 4 and Monday, August 13
Where: Legacy Emanuel Medical Center

•    Hear about Worship in Pink and the schedule of activities.
•    Learn of various opportunities for your involvement.
•    Develop ideas for your congregations’ activities during the Worship in Pink Weekend.

Ambassador Training
When: Saturday, September 22; Monday, September 24
Where: Legacy Emanuel Medical Center

•    Learn about breast health and about the importance of mammograms in breast cancer screening and early detection.
•    Get tips on how to share the message that breast screening can save lives!
•    Receive educational materials to share with members of your congregation.
•    Find out about resources for women who do not have health insurance.
•    Receive “Promise Cards” for your congregation, to distribute during the Worship in Pink Weekend.

Worship in Pink Weekend
When: Friday-Sunday, October 12-14 – the time and day of your choosing
Where: In your church, synagogue, mosque, temple or other faith-based organization
•    Put into action the activities that you have planned
•    Share the Worship in Pink message of inspiration, education and hope!
•    Distribute Promise Cards.
