Official Timing & Awards

New this year, official scoring and timing will be available only in the Competitive 5k running event.
You must be wearing a chip in order to be timed.  Results will not be tabulated for those runners who do not wear a chip in the Competitive Timed 5k Race.

No awards will be given for un-timed running events. The coed and women’s 5K events will have a score clock at the finish line but no official times will be published.

Age group competition will be held in the Competitive 5k event only. The top two finishers in each age group will receive a commemorative award. 
Age groups start at 14 and under and continue in 5-year increments through age 80. 

The first five overall men, women, and survivors as well as the first place masters finishers in the competitive 5K run will also receive an award.
