Race for the Cure Teams

Teams are a critical part of the Race for the Cure and there are many different types of teams – company teams, friend teams and family teams, to name a few.

In order to receive the Team Shipping Benefit and have all Race materials mailed to your Team Captain before the Race, your team must consist of 10 or more registrants by the team benefit deadline - October 5th, 11:59pm. Teams can help each other fundraise, and may have a collective fundraising goal as a team in addition to one’s individual fundraising goal. Many teams choose to walk or run the Race for the Cure together, but it is not a requirement that team members participate in the same walking or running event.


Some teams wear Race for the Cure t-shirts; other teams create their own t-shirts, or even wear costumes! Forming or joining a team is a fun way to get involved with the Race for the Cure – feel free to personalize the experience to make it the most meaningful for you! Did you know? Join a team to avoid the lines! Team t-shirts, bibs and pins are sent to team captains 7-10 days prior to the event for your convenience!


Team Online Registration Fee Information:
  • Adult registration for all untimed events: $30
  • Chip-timed registration: $35
  • Children ages 6-12: $10
  • Children under the age of five may participate for free but they must register in order to receive a t-shirt

Team Registration by Mail:
  • Adult registration for all untimed events: $35
  • Chip-timed registration: $45
  • Children ages 6-12: $10
  • Children under the age of five may participate for free but they must register in order to receive a t-shirt
  • All mail-in registrations must be received by September 30th.

Team members may register for their online or offline but not both.
