I Am the Cure

The goal of the I AM THE CURE initiative is to raise awareness about eartly detection among Race for the Cure participants.

Early detection is your best protection against breast cancer. 

250 Cheerleaders, also known as Cure Leaders lined up along the Race course wearing lime green t-shirts bearing the message, "I AM THE CURE" and chanting rally cries to empower people to make healthy choices and be advocates for their own breast health. 

Some of the messages they chanted included: “yearly check ups can save lives”, “every person, everywhere”, “best protection is early detection”, and “raise your voices for healthy choices”.
