Volunteer for Health Expo and Race for the Cure®

On Sunday, September 20th the Oregon & SW Washington Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure will celebrate our 18th Komen Portland Race for the Cure®. Last year, over 47,000 people participated, raising over 2.6 million dollars for our promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever. These incredible results would not be possible without the generous support of over 1,100 volunteers. We hope that you will consider giving your time again this year to this important cause.

We are encouraging volunteers as well as Race participants to be involved in fundraising to maintain our level of service to uninsured and underinsured women. Imagine the impact if every Race participant and volunteer raised even a small amount. We have created some tools you can use that make it easy to fundraise. Click here for fundraising ideas!

Your contribution as a volunteer will make an immeasurable difference in the lives of those impacted by breast cancer and will help us get one step closer to ending breast cancer forever. We cannot thank you enough for your commitment to this important event. We will see you in September!
