Please join us September 19-21, 2008 for Health Expo and Race for the Cure®!

Last year, over 1,000 volunteers made these events a huge success. We hope you'll consider giving your time again this year.
This year we are encouraging everyone to be involved in fundraising--volunteers, staff, runners, walkers--and image the impact we can have on the lives of local women.

The registration form outlines volunteer opportunities for the day of the Race and for the Health Expo. Each volunteer must fill out and sign a volunteer registration and release form. Volunteer positions have a limited number of slots available for each shift, so please note that volunteer assignments are made on a first-received, first-assigned basis. We urge you to respond promptly and list several of your top choices for volunteer positions.

For security and liability reasons, we have a minimum age of 15 for youth volunteers. If you wish to share your volunteer experience with children under the age of 15, each child must be accompanied by an adult. We are committed to keeping our volunteers and participants safe on this day of celebration and memoriam.

Again, we encourage you to return your Volunteer Registration Form as soon as possible. You will receive confirmation of your volunteer assignment by email as soon as your form is processed. If you do not have email access, we will send a confirmation letter by mail. In the meantime, please pencil in your requested volunteer time on your calendar to hold the date.

Your contribution as a volunteer makes an immeasurable difference in the lives of those impacted by breast cancer and will help us get one step closer to ending breast cancer forever. We cannot thank you enough for your commitment to this important event. See you in September!
